Ioannis MIRTSOPOULOS
Ioannis has threefold background in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC). He has built his multidisciplinary expertise through research projects and studies in Switzerland, Netherlands and Greece. Fields that he has been passionate about include structural design, computational geometry, form generative and form finding design methods, optimization, digital fabrication, robotics, material science and design digitalization. The development of customized computational tools for CAD, CAE, or CAM, successfully allows him to combine the AEC sub-fields and explore new aspects, pipelines and come up with solutions. He pursues a future in which the built environment integrates high-end interdisciplinary technologies in a sophisticated way.
